We are the main opposition Group on Labour-run Calderdale Council with 8 members. Our members on Calderdale Council represent the people of the Brighouse, Hipperholme & Lightcliffe, Rastrick and Ryburn wards. More detail about our members can be found on our People page.
Our Group Leader is Cllr Howard Blagbrough (Brighouse) while our Deputy Group Leader is Cllr George Robinson (Hipperholme & Lightcliffe). Mark Holmes serves as Chair of the Calder Valley Conservatives while Vishal Gupta serves as Chair of the Halifax Conservatives.
We are determined to fight for a better deal for residents across Calderdale - which means delivering better services for our local communities and spending taxpayers’ money wisely.
