Previously, Joe spent 10 years working within both Primary and Secondary schools, before returning to full time education himself in order to obtain an undergraduate and postgraduate degree.

Joe has done many years of volunteering work within the community, ranging from litter picking to assisting during the COVID-19 pandemic as an NHS volunteer responder through the Royal Voluntary Service.

Elected in 2022, Joe now serves the residents of Hipperholme and Lightcliffe and is delighted to do so.
